OMA NOMA DAYS HERITAGE FESTIVAL, Lake Ozark, Missouri, May 19, 2012 This special event commemorates Oma and Noma Degraffenreid, the first two people to cross Bagnell Dam on U. S. Highway 54 when the dam was completed and the highway was opened to traffic in May 1931.
The author will be set up in the White House on the Historic Bagnell Dam Boulevard selling and signing his books both days. He will also be hosting a special exhibit at the White House that features more than 100 vintage photos from the 1930s to the 1970s. Come see Historic Bagnell Dam Boulevard as it used to be. Plan to spend the day because the boulevard will be hopping with special family entertainment, good food, games, contests, exhibits, vendors and lots of music from the 1930s and 40s. See the people of Lake Ozark dressed in period clothing. Enjoy the Great Ozark Outhouse Race along the Bagnell Dam Strip.
